Tyton Board Member and Chief Scientific Advisor, is a molecular biologist/geneticist with over 40 years of experience leading large-scale academic units, facilities and shared services. He has held department head/director, professorial and research positions at Harvard Medical School, MIT, University of Illinois, and Thomas Jefferson University. He published over 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals and was Principal Investigator on federal grants for a period of over 3 decades. He served as Editor-in-Chief of the journal Somatic Cell and Molecular Genetics for 20 years and also served for many years as a member of federal grant review panels, site visit teams and study sections for NIH and NSF. Dr. Davidson received a Ph.D. and B.A. from Case Western Reserve University.
